I love clicking photos and over the last few years of blogging, I have developed a passion for styled photographs that enhance the appearance of the subject – whether it’s food, products, or simply an accessory.
The one thing I realised early on is how important backdrops were when it came to composing a good photo. They not only add an aesthetic appeal to your photos, but also create depth and make your subject stand out even more!
So after a lot of research, I decided to start creating my own backdrops!

Payment:
Payment can be made in the following ways:
- Bank transfer / Mobile Pay by ENBD / Careem Pay – in advance, before collection or delivery
- Cash – on collection or delivery
- Paypal – in advance, before collection or delivery
Payment will have to be done in advance through bank transfer or Paypal if you choose to have your backdrops picked up by a courier.
FAQs
- How long will it take to receive my backdrop?
Please allow 5-7 days to prepare your backdrop. - Do you have all the different materials and colors available at all times?
Material and colors are subject to availability. Backdrops may take longer to prepare depending on availability. - How does the delivery work?
Orders worth AED 400 or more qualify for free delivery within Dubai / AED 500 or more for free delivery in Sharjah.
For orders that don’t qualify for free delivery, you can choose to pick it up from Dubai or have it delivered through a courier of your choice at your own cost. - Will I receive the exact same color and texture that I picked?
Every backdrop is handmade and customized to order. If you have placed an order based on a photo of a previously prepared backdrop, slight color and texture variations will appear. - My backdrop is curved. Is this normal?
Yes, it’s okay for your backdrop to be slightly curved. It’s just how wood behaves! However when you style your dishes or products, just wait for a couple of seconds for it to settle before clicking your photos.

Taking care of your backdrop
Like everything dear to you, I urge you to treat your backdrop with love and care.
- Keep your backdrop clean and dry.
- You can save the packaging material your backdrop was wrapped in and use it for storing it.
- Remove any dirt and stains immediately after your shoot to prevent them from drying out on the backdrop.
- The paint is treated with a water-resistant coating, but it is still susceptible to water stains.
- To clean minor stains, dab using a damp cloth dipped in warm water and avoid vigorous rubbing. Do not use detergents or harsh chemicals.
- When wiping a textured backdrop, avoid using fleecy fabric as fibers may stick to the textured areas.
- You can also use a bristle brush or vacuum cleaner to clean your backdrop.
- Allow the surface to dry out completely after you clean it before storing it next to a wall or other backdrops to avoid paint damage.
- Be a tad bit more careful if you are using your backdrop for food photography, as major spills can spell out major trouble.
- The color can tend to fade over time, so keep it away from direct sunlight when not in use.
- Do not use the backdrop as a chopping board to avoid scratches and paint damage.
