Burrata

We started our new menu discovery with my all time favorite – Burrata. One of the bestsellers from their new menu, this burrata comes with a peachy twist. I have almost always had burrata with different types of tomatoes on the side, but these grilled peaches were a pleasant surprise. The sourdough bread was thankfully not too hard and made the right carby base for the cheese. The salad too had lots of new elements in it – hazelnut, fennel, spring onions and more. And the burrata itself was just right – creamy, indulgent and definitely satisfying.

Wild Mushroom Ragu Bruschetta

Next up was the Wild Mushroom Ragu Bruschetta. This, to be honest, was even better than the burrata. Why you ask? Two words – crispy garlic! I have been a fan of garlic in all forms (definitely not a vampire), and fried or roasted crispy garlic is my favorite. I could honestly have a plate full of these on their own and be content. Now mushrooms combined with garlic takes the appeal to a whole different level. I was a little surprised by the addition of pickles on the bruschetta, but frankly they added a nice sour twist to the mix. The sourdough in this one was good too – not hard at all and could be easily cut. Must have! #RashidaRecommends

Parmesan & Herb Chicken Schnitzel

We can’t really say no to bestsellers, which is why the Parmesan & Herb Chicken Schnitzel was our first choice. This in a very short line – was happiness on a plate. Herb and parmesan crusted chicken, deep fried to a crispy perfection was served in a generous portion making it ideal for sharing. The potatoes were good too, although I would have preferred if they offered a choice between wedges, fries or mash (or a little of everything). the creme fraiche might have been a little too sour for my liking, but overall this dish was great.

Singapore Style Noodles

Singapore Style Noodles was our next choice in mains. This dish is nothing but all my cravings on one single plate. I had really been hoping to eat Asian noodles for quite sometime, so this was an obvious choice. What I loved the most about this dish is its quantity, and the fact that it brought chicken and prawns together for me. This dish was more than enough for two of us, and it had a generous amount of both proteins. A slightly spicier option would have been absolutely fab!

Chocolate Sphere

To end it on a fabulously sweet note, we opted for the very famous Chocolate Sphere. With everything chocolate in one dessert, I must say I was a little overwhelmed. Watching the chocolate sphere slowly melt away was a spectacular show. A little more cake inside would’ve balanced it out.

Frozen Chocolate Raspberry Mousse

As they say, the best things come in twos! This Frozen Chocolate Raspberry Mousse was our second dessert. My preferred one from the two we tried, these chocolate discs sandwiched a creamy raspberry mousse within. The combination of raspberries and chocolate has always been my favorite, so I was all smiles for this.
