Make you Friday a lively one – Brunch at Kris With a View
Working so closely with one of the largest communities in this city, makes you want to explore their culture, lifestyle, and most importantly cuisine.
This is what motivated us to try out the Filipino brunch at Kris with a View.
Based in the centrally located Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, this stylish restaurant, perched at the 19th floor, offers breathtaking views of both old & new Dubai.
The brunch is perfectly Asian. From the favorites of Filipino and Thai cuisines, to sushi, dim sums and regional desserts, it’s the melting pot of all South East Asian flavors in one place.
They even have a late breakfast station serving eggs, waffles, hash browns and beans.
Love late breakfasts? Then you should checkout the Friday brunch at Kris with a View in Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel. Their brunch features a late breakfast corner with a live egg and waffle station.
Fluffy omelettes, crispy hash browns and a glass of fresh orange juice at 2 pm. Isn’t that just lovely?
Here’s a glimpse of what we tried from the salads and mains at the Friday brunch at Kris with a View in Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel.
My favorites included chicken and macaroni salad, chicken pad thai noodles and Schezwan fried chicken. But the ultimate were the garlic crackers. An alternative to prawn crackers, these were mildly flavored with garlic and fried crispy. Being a big fan of garlic, I couldn’t help but load up on these fluffy sides. Honestly, I would love it if Asian restaurants started offering these as an option to prawn crackers.
How many chicken lollipop fans here? Raise your hands! Don’t you just love it when restaurants present classics in such a lovely manner. Like these chicken lollipops from the Friday brunch at Kris with a View in Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel.
Love how they’re topped with some sweet chilli sauce and placed in a miniature thatch basket.
And you just cannot miss the Filipino dessert favorite Halo Halo. Honestly this dessert was the highlight of my meal. I loved every bit of making and eating it.
Although, my guest was amazed with the selection of South East Asian hops available at the brunch, and enjoyed sipping on Chinese Tsing Tao.
All this accompanied with a live music performance made the whole experience so very lively and worth it.
Add this newly launched concept to your list of must have brunches in Dubai.
