The fashionable approach to Iftar at 3in1, Vida Downtown
Most Iftars highlight their traditional ambience and cuisine. But here’s one that offers a fashionable and contemporary approach to the Dubai Iftar scene. Last night I broke my fast at Vida Downtown’s chic 3in1 restaurant that brings a refreshing way to Iftar.
Showcasing a modern menu, that includes an interactive juice display at their Juice Cellar, sushi & salad live stations, breads, mezzeh, nuts, dry fruits, dates, International and local favorite desserts, and main courses that are brought to your table, perfectly plated; this creative concept tries to break some myths while at the same time keeping traditions alive.
The ‘Vida’ twist sees Chef James Knight-Pacheo take diners on a culinary journey full of delectable Arabian inspired dishes. With Vida Downtown’s commitment towards cutting down on food wastage, they have opted for the selection of hot mains to be made to order and served directly to the table on large sharing boards.
Guests can move to the terrace or pool deck to enjoy Ramadan beverages and shisha.
My favorites from the Iftar: creamy Hummus, fresh breads, juices in those cute bottles and the juicy Lime & Chili marinated Chicken.
They offer two hours (until 9 pm) to indulge, relax and nourish after a day-long fast. 3in1 flaunts a very chilled vibe and is perfect for an intimate evening with a group of close friends or your special someone.
The Iftar is priced at AED 170 per person including soft drinks & juices. Children between 6 – 12 years get 50% off and children below 5 years dine for free.
