All that fame is real, and totally deserving! Because once you try the burgers at High Joint, you’ll want to keep going back, again and again and again.
My first outdoor restaurant review after the quarantine, this visit was special in more ways than one. As a completely out of the blue, instant decision, I also gave that long overdue idea of doing video reviews a go. And well, the taste of the burgers did complete justice in helping me share the most honest opinions #noretakes
The restaurant is quite a hole in the wall, located within a small by lane amidst the Jumeirah villas, with very minimal seating outdoors,. But this place is very well known for takeaways, and you’ll often find the fanciest cars lining up outside the restaurant to pick up their stash of burgers.
We loved loved loved the Spicy Mango Slaw Chicken Burger, which is also their bestseller, and the High Jam Beef Burger (off the menu) with all that meaty goodness was a real taste blast. Don’t miss out on their loaded truffle mayo fries and cookie dessert. It really completes the #highonfood experience.

Apart from being the absolutely juicy burgers I’ve had in a long long time, High Joint has truly inspired me to do a Top 10 burgers in Dubai article. Their mango slaw chicken burger and high jam beef burger were my favorite, and I couldn’t have enough of those truffle fries. The prices are quite fair for the quantity, and if you’re like me, one burger will be more than enough to fill you up. They also offer the option of adding 2 patties instead of one, but I’d rather take a second burger!
