Melt and Roast | Dubai Media City

Located in a quiet corner under the Zee building, Melt and Roast is all set to become one of the top spots for the Dubai Media City foodies. Serving pretty much everything from all day continental breakfast to dosas, burgers to vada pavs, and kebabs and curries in plates to per piece portions, this place is a busy bee during the day and an intimate spot to dine at night.

We decided to have early dinner at the restaurant a few days back, and although it was quiet in the evening, the mornings are afternoons are pretty busy. We started with chicken keema maggi and I lovvved the big bowl of hot noodles. For AED 17, the portion was super generous and very very filling. Next up was a portion of juicy Nawabi Chicken Tikka which also happens to be their bestseller. We liked the spices in this one. You can obviously never get enough of grills, so our next dish was flavorful Arabic rice studded with cashews and raisins, and topped with three different types of chicken tikkas. I really liked the rice in this one, especially the cashews. Apart from the grills, we also tried the Melt n’ Roast chicken burger. Very succulent and juicy, this was more than enough for one person. So if you’re trying out more than one dish, you will definitely want to split that burger with someone. We washed down all that food with the carrot orange and pomegranate juice, and ended our dinner with a portion of hot brownie with ice cream. Plus, we also tried some of their karak chai which was perfect for the weather.
