800 Pizza | Al Wasl
Pizza tastes best when it’s delivered and 800 Pizza do an excellent job at that! Last weekend we decided to have a comforting pizza lunch from 800 Pizza and ended up trying more than just pizza.
Although they don’t deliver to where I stay, it was not too bad to drive to one of their many outlets and do a quick pick up. The best part – they threw in something extra just for some extra customer happiness, and needless to say, full marks for that.
Our order included a creamy chicken pizza which was simply fab. I lovvvved the creamy white sauce base, cheesy Italian mozzarella and the tender grilled chicken pieces with a generous parsley garnish. The next item on our list was the lasagna. And what it lacked for in presentation, it made up for in taste. The al dente sheets of egg pasta in this were layered with homemade bolognese and bechamel sauce. The surprise dish in our basket were the mac n cheese arancini balls. These were great too, especially with the crispy breaded coating outside, but I guess they’d taste better with some spicy ingredients or sauce in it.

Overall, the pizza was great. But I would definitely love to try out more toppings and different pasta options as well. Expanding the delivery to outer Dubai areas would also be a big plus from the guys at 800 Pizza.
