The Falcon Lounge | World Trade Club
Dining with a view is not a new concept in Dubai, but when it is within one of the most iconic buildings that has seen this city develop over the years, the dine becomes all the more special. The Falcon Lounge, a part of The World Trade Club located on the 33rd floor of The Dubai World Trade Center offers the perfect representation of continental dining.
The Falcon Lounge recently revamped their menu to include an exciting mix of different platters and flavors. This unique dining experience is designed to cater to anyone and everyone – whether they are looking for light bites or a decadent 3 course meal. The menu allows you to mix and match by picking different elements from various platters or you even have the choice to order the entire platter – the choices are limitless.
Conference & Meeting Facilities
The World Trade Club offers a host of meeting and conference rooms, each designed to suit the size of the gathering. Big meeting rooms that accommodate up to 120 guests, come with buffet placements, furniture and in-house AV on rent, and are ideal for those looking to organize company events, weddings functions, cocktail parties, engagements, etc. Smaller meeting rooms are perfect for intimate gathering like henna parties, book clubs, private functions, deal signings and more.
One of their meeting rooms is exclusively designed for Dinner Time Stories by Le Petit Chef.
Cinnamon Berry Mojito
Although The World Trade Club is licensed, we kept it sober and started with the Cinnamon Berry Mojito. Muddled with cinnamon, blackberries, lemon and mint leaves, this refreshing drink was garnished with a little of all the ingredients that go into it, and served chilled. I simply loved that deep purple hue from the blackberries!
Burger Platter
The burger platter seemed rather interesting, especially with all those colorful buns, so we decided on trying them all. The different slider options included Chicken, Beef, Halloumi and Mushroom. The mixed burgers came with a basket of mixed fried potatoes that included crinkled potato fries, potato wedges and sweet potato fries.
The spiced Southern Fried Chicken Burger featured crispy chicken fillets topped with truffle mayo and fresh veggies.
The BBQ Beef Burger brought forth a juicy dense beef patty with all the burger usuals.
The Flat Field Mushroom Burger was my favorite! Featuring a mixed mushroom patty sautéed to the best possible flavor, this one was topped with garlic and leek cream that sat just right with the mushrooms. It’s no wonder this one is the chef’s signature dish!
The Halloumi and Beetroot Burger was quite fine too. Topped with spiced tomato, this sandwich beautifully brought the three ingredients together in one delicious bun.
Indian Platter
Being an Indian means I am always looking out for brilliant Indian food options. And this unique thali styled presentation really impressed me. This non-vegetarian Indian Platter at The Falcon Lounge came with an Indian Summer Salad, Pomfret Fish Fry, Butter Chicken & Lachcha Paratha, and Herb Rice & Dal Makhni along with yogurt and chutney accompaniments.
So refreshing, especially during these summer afternoons, this pineapple and watermelon Indian Summer Salad was as impressive in taste as it was in its presentation.
Brilliantly spiced with all the right flavors and fried to perfection, this traditional styled Pomfret Fish Fry was as tender as it can get.
This was without doubt, the creamiest Butter Chicken ever. This dish is so classic, but at the same time basic, that I always end up overlooking how good it can be. I know I would go back to The Falcon Lounge just for this. It goes well with both rice and paratha, but the latter was my obvious choice. As for the Herb Rice, it was just right, and so good, even on its own.
Definitely one of the better Dal Makhni I’ve had, this one went great with both, the paratha as well as the rice. I preferred it with the rice more though. The Lachcha Paratha was quite a nice one – flaky and not at all oily. This is something I’d actually like to have with all my curries.
Meat Dish
Although these two platters made us completely full, there was something about the BBQ Lamb Chops that my date couldn’t resist. So we decided to skip desserts and go for the lamb instead. Extremely tender and perfectly spiced, the lamb chops dipped just right with that gravy. And those roasted potatoes (after all the other potatoes we devoured) were a welcome sight.
Have you had a chance to visit The Falcon Lounge at the World Trade Club? Which platter would you choose?

#RashidaReviews
It’s not just the food, or the views, but the very feeling of dining inside the World Trade Centre that makes the experience so memorable. The new menu is definitely worth a try – not once, not twice, but over and over again. While we skipped the desserts this time because we were too full, I know I am definitely going back for those. The best way to try their food would be to pick an item from each platter or even better – take a bunch of people along with you and enjoy all the platters in whole!
