Seasons at Pullman JLT | Pani Puri Night
Do I even need to begin writing about how much I love pani puri? I hope not. I have tons of pictures on my Instagram that are proof of my undying love for this spicy street chaat. The only heartbreak I have from this relationship is that my rendezvous with pani puri is charged per plate. But can you imagine my excitement and happiness on knowing there’s an entire theme night dedicated to Pani Puri?!
Seasons Restaurant in Pullman Jumeirah Lake Towers holds a very unique Pani Puri themed night every Wednesdays from 7 pm to 1030 pm. Priced at an unbelievably low price of AED 85 per person, you’re not just paying for unlimited pani puris, but an extensive variety of Indian goodness – right from chaats and salads, kebabs, curries, biryanis and a never ending collection of Indian desserts.
We started with the salad counter that included a variety of street chaat items like sev puri, papdi chaat and dahi bhallas in addition to non-vegetarian salads and the regular mezze. My favorite were the South Indian prawns.
Next up was the actual Pani Puri station. In addition to pani puri, the chef also prepared samosa chaat. We tried both, but the Pani Puris were my obvious choice.
Then came the buffet selection which offered a varied spread of tikkas, curries, rice and of course, pav bhaji!
The final station – a favorite for many – was the dessert area that brought so many Indian flavors in one place. Think rasgulla, ras malai, gulab jamun, kaju katri and much much more.
If you feel the chaat spice got a little too high, the Pani Puri night at Seasons also offers Indian inspired soft drinks like Aam Panna, Rooh Afza and Jal Jeera.

One of the best themed nights I have been to. Yes, I am biased when it comes to pani puri, but everyone has their favs and so do I. Unlike places where I pick my favorite few and stick to them throughout my evening, this is one of the very very few spreads where I literally wanted to eat every dish from the buffet. A must try for chaat lovers and Indian food enthusiasts!
