Rustic Italian in DIFC – Ravioli & Co.
Some restaurants offer not only good food but also a good overall dining experience. They transport you to a different world just by their mere ambiance. Ravioli & Co. is one such place.
Offering Italian fare in an authentic setting, Ravioli & Co. impresses with its rustic wallpapers, floral accents and of course, good food. We were at this DIFC gem last weekend for lunch. Read on to find out my take on everything we tried.
La Burrata
Obviously my favorite! The burrata was fresh and so creamy, we literally didn’t have to chew it.
Funghi Gratinati
These baked mushrooms were honestly the star of the table. The creamy shallot sauce made them all the more gorgeous.
Turnip with Focaccia
This dish had broccoli more prominent than pickled turnip. The focaccia on the side was brilliant though.
Ravioli di Melanzane
This herb and butter sauce pasta was stuffed with eggplants, mozzarella and basil pesto, and had a nice dense bite.
Ravioli Rustico
Stuffed with chicken and mushrooms, these had minced filling in it.
Gnocchi alla Romano
The twist in this was the baked semolina instead of potatoes which makes it so much lighter. Unique creamy with taleggio base, this gnocchi was very comforting.
Tiramisu con Nutella
This slightly contemporary tiramisu with Nutella which, as they proudly claim, is one of the best tiramisu in Dubai, was so satisfying to dig into. Dont leave without trying this.

A little off radar, this Burj Daman gem is located right in the heart of DIFC. Perfect for a romantic rendezvous or a Italian lunch, this place serves some of the best Ravioli options, staying true to its name. Highly recommend their Funghi Gratinati. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their pasta.
