Lebanese meets global at Nurai in Business Bay
Tucked away in a small corner in Business Bay, this hidden gem is hidden for a reason. Offering impressive views of Burj Khalifa and Downtown skyline while at the same time keeping it intimate, Nurai Cafe serves the best of Lebanese and Continental cuisines on one platter.
Whether you choose to sit outdoors and enjoy their variety of shisha, or get competitive with your group of friends over board games, or simply nestle yourself on their upper deck seating to enjoy some quiet time with family, Nurai brings together different options in one place to suit your dining mood.
The menu is filled with everything from mezze and grills to pizza, burgers and steak. Plus they have a few dedicated light items for the weight watchers as well as a list of desserts for those who want to indulge. Read on for more on the food.
Nurai House Combo
If you’re dining at Nurai Cafe, this Nurai House Combo is quite a must have. Very much like a sampler platter, it’s got a little of all their bestselling starters at a very affordable price.
This one comes with garlic bread stromboli loaded with cheese and pepperoni, vegetable spring rolls, Camembert cheese bites, calamari rings, crispy breaded shrimps, juicy chicken tenders, and twister fries. All this along with honey mustard sauce and tartar dip. My favorites are the garlic bread and fries! Which one is yours?
Nurai Steak
This is one of the most “complete” dishes I’ve come across in my food journey in Dubai. The Nurai Steak comes with everything you would want on your dinner plate. Two succulent pieces of grilled chicken breast, along with a small prime beef steak topped with creamy mushroom sauce makes for the main part of the dish.
Accompanying the meat are cheesy baked house potatoes, sauteed vegetables and steamed corn. The mushroom sauce is absolutely comforting, and as for the meat, it’s done just right. Moreover, the portion is good enough for two to share if you’ve had your fill of starters.
But if your dining alone… wait! There’s no reason to dine alone at Nurai Cafe. Make sure you take your friends and family along to enjoy their delicacies!
Profiteroles
Profiteroles! These little puffs are filled with so much goodness, they really keep you wanting for more.
The ones @nuraicafe come filled with vanilla ice cream in the center and a drizzle of chocolate and caramel sauce all over along with crushed hazelnuts adding that crunch.
My favorite part was the hazelnuts, but since I’m not a big caramel fan, I would have liked a less messy version of the profiteroles, probably topped with just Nutella and some whipped cream on the side.
