Stir Fry
Here’s a crash course on making a simple yet delicious stir fry. The live station at the Friday brunch at The Huddle in Citymax Barsha offers a choice of stir fried beef, chicken, tofu or mixed seafood that’s made right in front of you, as per your spice level and ingredient preference.
This quick technique uses pre-cooked meat which is lightly fried for a crispy bite. Garlic and soy flavors are prominent, and so is the crunch from the sprouts.

My review
I wouldn’t call it a brunch so much, as much as I would call it a buffet. And especially if your definition of a brunch is in line with the typicalities of Dubai, you would be disappointed. While I was expecting some of The Huddle signature dishes like JD wings, shepherd’s pie, and spinach & artichoke dip among others, we were narrowed down to a regular hotel lunch menu.
The spread of mains was slightly limited, the highlights being the live stations serving eggs, stir fry and waffles. The salad and desserts were plenty, but overall this place lacked the punch and upbeat atmosphere you want your Fridays to begin with.
If you’re looking for an affordable and laid back Friday lunch with drinks to satiate you between noon and 4 pm, this one would make a good choice.
