Breakfast & Lunches made prettier at Eat Artisanal Bakery

How would you like a restaurant filled with natural elegance and sunlit interiors? Never before have I posted my pictures without a speck of a single filter, but the raw beauty of this restaurant instilled such confidence in me, it was hard to alter its reality. After a bout of bad health, I finally got back and gave my food tastings a subtle restart. Located at Bay Square, Eat Artisanal Bakery definitely makes an effortless entry to the top Insta-worthy cafes in Dubai.

It’s got all the elements that are sure to make your pictures stands out. The interior space is decked up with wooden tables and chairs, that’s complemented with powder blue and grey seating. Then come the white accents in the form of tables and lamps that increase the brightness quotient of the shop. And of course, it all goes well with a touch of fresh greenery that adds so much life to this little bakery cafe.

All of that make it just plain unfair to ignore Eat Artisanal Bakery’s existence.

Here’s a quick question: if you had to choose one of these, which one would it be?

Juices

Eat Artisanal Bakery does great coffee, yes. But it didn’t seem quite right for a Friday lunch. So we decided to opt for their fresh juice creations instead. These two perfectly matched our need for the hour; a cooling Pink Hydration for me and a late morning Energy Booster for my partner.

The former came with a mix of watermelon and pomegranate along with lemon and mint. Slightly sweet and slightly tangy, this light drink was quite the refresher. The latter combined the essentials of orange, apple and carrot, with a spice boost of ginger. The perfect wake-me-up, this fresh blend had a smooth taste.

You can also choose from a couple of green detox or power juices, or stick to the classic OJ.

Signature Breakfast Bruschetta

We were glad to find out that Eat Artisanal Bakery serves breakfast all day. Glad because we got to try their bestseller – Signature Breakfast Bruschetta.

A classic ‘poached egg on toast’ dish, this bruschetta features a rustic homemade bread topped with diced avocados and cherry tomatoes. The poached eggs are dressed with a generous dollop of fresh rocket pesto that adds so much character to the toast.

Like always, my favorite part was breaking the eggs!

Stuffed Baby Chicken

That’s a stuffed baby chicken that weighs 600g! One of their lunch specialties, this deboned whole chicken at Eat Artisanal Bakery is stuffed with a mixture smoked bulgur wheat and lamb mince – also known as freekeh.

Although it’s served with a side of mint & cucumber yogurt, I found the stuffing to be slightly bland and dry. If I had a second chance at this, I would probably opt for their veg lasagna or beef sliders, or maybe just stick to my all time favorite chicken Thai green curry.

Devil’s Chocolate Cake

I must be honest, I’ve cut down on my food intake quite a lot, especially after falling ill. I just don’t feel like eating most of the food items given to me. Bad for business I know, but that’s where cravings kick in. And right from the time I saw this slice of Devil’s Chocolate Cake in the counter at Eat Artisanal Bakery, I began craving for a good ‘ol piece.

Unfortunately the appearance was sort of deceiving and the cake didn’t quite live up to my expectations. It was rather dry and not as moist as I would (or anyone else would) have wanted it. I’m guessing it was from the previous day, given that this was the only piece remaining on the stand. The carrot cake on the other hand looked quite scrumptious, but we were too full to give another dessert a go. Next time maybe!
