These tempura prawns deserve a special mention. Not only were they a, deliciously crispy highlight of our brunch at Pergolas but Sous Chef Gurpreet Singh exclusively prepared them for us. I, for one, knew my brunch would never be complete without some prawns and him accommodating our request was a really sweet gesture.

The extensive Friday brunch at Pergolas in Murooj Rotana is so since it has something from every cuisine. And not just something, it has the best offerings from the region. The Friday brunch at Pergolas in Murooj Rotana had a humble, but very delicious live pasta station with a selection of different pasta, sauces and veggies. We opted for the bow tie our farfalle pasta in white sauce with mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, olives and peppers. Topped with grated parmesan, this pasta was just so comforting to dig into. Moreover, the helpful guys there made sure we continue enjoying our brunch instead of waiting at the station, assuring us that the pasta once ready will be delivered right to our table.
